Hand-woven using the tufting method
The tufting process involves placing yarns into a backing using specialized tools, such as tufting guns. The fibers penetrate the warp, forming loops or a fluffy pile, which is then secured with a layer of glue. To ensure perfect pattern reproduction, an outline of the design is often drawn on the backing. After tufting is complete, the fibers are cut to the appropriate length, and the backing of the rug is further reinforced with successive layers of glue, significantly increasing its durability and stability.
How to care for a wool rug?
To keep your carpet in good condition, vacuum it regularly, always moving the vacuum cleaner in the direction of the fibers to avoid damaging them. Try to avoid using chemical cleaners.
Remember to vacuum and air the carpet regularly, taking care not to get it wet when washing the floor.
Protect your carpet from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to ensure the colours remain even and do not fade.
Regularly check the condition of fringes and edges, which may be subject to wear, and make repairs when necessary.
On slippery surfaces, it is a good idea to use an anti-slip pad to prevent the carpet from sliding.
To maintain even wear and tear, rotate your carpet at least twice a year. Use soft pads, such as felt, under heavy furniture to prevent permanent deformation.
