Hand-woven using the tufting method

Tufting a carpet is a technique in which yarn is driven into the fabric base using special tools such as tufting guns. The yarn is shot between the warp threads, creating loops or piles that are then fixed with glue. Before starting work, a pattern is often applied to the background that is to be reproduced.
