The carpet was fully made made of high-quality viscose, which has been specially processed to give it a silky appearance. The result of this is shiny, elegant fleece, which is exceptionally soft and pleasant to the touch. The carpet significantly improves the acoustics of the interior, reducing echo and noise, which helps create a cozy atmosphere. Additionally, its breathable structure helps maintain warmth and effectively retains dust and chemicals. Thanks to this, the carpet not only enhances the aesthetics of the room, but also purifies the air, providing a healthier home environment.
Hand-woven
Hand-woven carpets are created as a result of a complex production process. In small villages in India, especially in Uttar Pradesh on the Ganges River, experienced local craftsmen create modern carpets using advanced knotting techniques, reaching a density of approximately 250 knots per square meter. Thanks to this method, carpets gain elasticity and durability.
Once the binding is complete, the craftsmen wash the rugs outdoors, using traditional methods, clean water and tools.
Carpets are exceptionally soft to the touch and significantly improve interior acoustics, reducing echo and noise. In addition, they help purify the air by trapping chemicals. Their breathable structure also helps keep the room warm.
How to care for a viscose rug?
Run your hand across the carpet to determine the direction of the pile. Cleaning in the opposite direction may loosen the fibers and deform the structure of the carpet.
Avoid using high-powered vacuum cleaners with rotating brushes as they may damage the viscose fibers. Instead, use a hand-held carpet brush in the direction of the pile, which will help remove any remaining crumbs and dirt.
Do not use detergents as they may stain and change the color of the carpet. Clean stains with a mixture of white vinegar, water and dishwashing liquid. Cleaning stains quickly will reduce their size and intensity. For more difficult stains, use a solution of water, white vinegar and mild dishwashing liquid. Wipe the stain with a cloth, then remove the solution with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use too much solution so as not to damage the carpet.
Use a mild dishwashing liquid to clean spills. First, test it on a small area of the carpet. If discoloration or stains appear, do not use it. If you need to clean a larger area, mild dishwashing liquid and water will work. Soak the cloth with cold water and a drop of neutral dishwashing liquid, and then wipe the carpet in the direction of the pile. Once finished, wipe the area with a dry cloth until it is dry.
