Only the best viscose
The carpet is entirely made of high quality viscose, specially treated to give it a silky effect. Thanks to this, the carpet has a shiny pile that not only looks elegant, but is also exceptionally velvety and pleasant to the touch. Its presence significantly improves the acoustics of the room, reducing echo and noise, which helps create a cozy atmosphere. In addition, the breathable structure of the carpet helps keep warm and effectively retains dust and chemicals. In this way, the carpet not only adds charm to the interior, but also actively purifies the air, creating a healthier environment in your home.
Hand-woven using the knotting method
Hand-woven carpets are created as a result of a complex production process. In small villages in India, especially in Uttar Pradesh on the Ganges River, experienced local craftsmen create modern carpets using an advanced knotting technique, reaching a density of approximately 250 knots per square meter. This method gives the carpets elasticity and durability.
Once the knot-tying process is complete, the craftsmen wash the rugs outdoors, using traditional methods, clean water and tools.
The carpet is soft to the touch, significantly improves room acoustics by reducing echo and noise, and also helps purify the air by retaining chemicals. Its breathable structure also helps keep the room warm.
How to care for a viscose rug?
Run your hand across the carpet to determine the direction of the pile. Cleaning in the opposite direction to the pile may loosen the fibers and deform the carpet.
High-power vacuum cleaners with rotating brushes may damage viscose fibers. Instead, use a non-electric carpet brush and move it in the direction of the pile. This should effectively remove any debris and dirt from the carpet.
Avoid using detergents as they may stain and discolor the carpet. Clean stains with white vinegar, water and dishwashing liquid. Quick action will reduce the size and intensity of stains. For tougher stains, use a mixture of water, white vinegar and mild dishwashing liquid. Wipe the stain with the solution cloth, then immediately remove the solution with a clean, damp cloth. Make sure the cloth is not too wet so as not to damage the carpet.
Use a mild dishwashing liquid to clean spills. First, test the liquid on a small, inconspicuous part of the carpet. If you notice discoloration or stains, do not use it. If you need to clean a larger area, use mild dishwashing liquid and water. Soak the cloth in cold water and a drop of neutral pH liquid, then wipe the area in the direction of the pile. Once finished, wipe the area with a dry cloth until it is dry.
