Hand-woven using the tufting method
Tufting a carpet is a method in which yarn is inserted into the backing using specialist tools such as tufting guns. The yarn is placed between the warp threads, creating loops or piles, which are then fixed with glue. Often, a pattern is drawn on the backing before the process begins to make it easier to trace. Once tufting is complete, the yarns are trimmed to the correct height and the backing of the carpet is reinforced.
