Hand-woven using the knotting method
Hand-woven carpets are created as a result of a complex production process. In small villages in India, especially in the Uttar Pradesh region on the Ganges River, experienced craftsmen create modern carpets using an advanced knotting technique, reaching a density of approximately 250 knots per square meter. This technique guarantees the elasticity and durability of the carpets.
Once bonding is complete, the carpets are washed outdoors using traditional methods, clean water and tools.
These carpets are exceptionally soft and significantly improve room acoustics, reducing echo and noise. Additionally, they help purify the air by retaining chemicals, and their breathable structure helps keep the room warm.
How to care for a wool rug?
Take care of your carpet by regularly removing dust and other dirt from it. When vacuuming, move the vacuum cleaner in the direction of the fibers so as not to damage their structure. Avoid using chemicals to clean your carpet.
To keep your carpet clean, vacuum and air it regularly. Try not to soak the carpet when washing floors.
Protect your carpet from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent uneven color fading. Natural fading is normal, but should be even.
Regularly check the condition of the carpet fringes and edges, which may be worn out but can be repaired.
If you are placing the rug on a slippery surface, use a suitable underlay to ensure its stability.
