Hand-woven using the tufting method
Tufting a carpet is a technique in which yarn is inserted into the base fabric using specialist tools such as tufting guns. The yarn is interwoven between the warp threads, creating loops or piles, which are then fixed with glue. Usually, a pattern is drawn on the backing before the process begins, acting as a guide. Once the tufting is complete, the fibres are cut to the correct length and the backing of the carpet is further reinforced with glue, which increases its durability.
