Only the best quality wool
Only the highest quality wool goes into Rezas carpets. Wool is carefully selected to perfectly match the collection it will become part of.
Wool carpets they have amazing properties. Lanolin, a deeply moisturizing oil naturally found in sheep's wool, creates a protective coating that repels liquids and dirt. And the high elasticity of wool makes the carpet always look fresh.
Traditional dyeing techniques allow the colors to penetrate deep into the wool, keeping the rugs bright and vibrant – even after many years of use.
Hand-woven using the knotting method
Hand-knotted rugs are created through a meticulous, multi-step process requiring time, patience, and craftsmanship. The tradition of rug making is cultivated in small Indian villages, primarily in the Uttar Pradesh region in northern India, near the Ganges River. Each rug is handcrafted by skilled artisans who use the most precise and labor-intensive technique—knotting. This technique gives the rugs exceptional resilience and durability.
Once weaving is complete, the artisans wash the carpet in the traditional way – in the open air, using clean water and simple tools.
The result of their work is a carpet with an incredibly soft touch, which improves interior acoustics and supports natural air purification, bringing harmony and comfort to your home.
How to care for a wool rug?
Keep the carpet clean from dust and dirt. Vacuum carefully in the direction of the pile. Never clean with chemicals.
We recommend regular maintenance by vacuuming and beating the carpet. Avoid soaking the carpet - be careful when washing the floor.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight - this may cause uneven fading. The colors will fade over time, but should do so evenly over the entire surface of the carpet.
Pay special attention to fringes and edges that may be wearing out. However, they can be repaired if necessary.
If you want to place the rug on a slippery floor, we recommend a pad that can be cut to the dimensions of the rug.
We recommend turning your rug at least twice a year to avoid uneven wear. For additional protection, it is worth placing a soft pad, e.g. made of felt, under the legs of heavy furniture placed on the carpet.
* A standard deviation of up to 5% from the dimensions given is allowed, as well as a slight unevenness of the carpet edges.
The carpet may differ in color or shade from the product photo shown on the website.
