How to care for a wool rug?

Keep your carpet clean by regularly removing dust and dirt. Vacuum it gently, always in the direction of the bristles, avoiding the use of chemicals.

We recommend systematic maintenance by vacuuming and beating the carpet. Avoid getting it wet, especially when washing the floor.

Protect your rug from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent uneven color fading. Carpet colors may fade over time, but they should do so evenly.

Keep an eye out for fringes and edges, which may wear out but can be repaired if necessary.

If the carpet is placed on a slippery floor, we recommend using an anti-slip pad that can be cut to size.

Rotate your carpet every six months to prevent uneven wear. For additional protection, place soft pads, such as felt, under the legs of heavy furniture placed on the carpet.
