Hand-woven using the tufting method
Carpet tufting is a technique in which yarn is punched into a fabric backing using special tools such as carpet tufting guns. The yarn is shot between the warp threads, creating loops or piles that are then fixed with glue. Before tufting begins, a pattern is drawn on the base and then reproduced. Once the process is complete, the fibers are cut to the appropriate height and the carpet backing is attached.
How to care for a wool rug?
Keep your carpet clean by regularly removing dust and dirt. Vacuum in the direction of the fibers to avoid damaging them, and avoid chemical cleaners.
Carpet maintenance should include regular vacuuming and airing. When washing floors, avoid getting the carpet wet.
Protect your rug from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent uneven color fading. Natural fading should occur evenly.
Regularly check the condition of your carpet's fringes and edges, which may wear out but are easily repaired.
If the carpet is placed on a slippery surface, use a special pad adapted to its dimensions.
To prevent uneven wear, rotate your carpet at least twice a year. To protect against dents from heavy furniture, use soft pads, such as felt ones.
