Hand-woven using the knotting method
Hand-woven rugs are the product of a complex manufacturing process. In small villages in India, especially in the Ganges region of Uttar Pradesh, local, experienced weavers handcraft modern carpets. They use an advanced knotting technique that gives the carpets both elasticity and durability.
After tying all the knots, the craftsmen wash the carpets outdoors in the traditional way, using only clean water and traditional tools.

How to care for a wool rug?
Maintain your carpet by removing dust and dirt regularly. When vacuuming, move in the direction of the fibers to prevent damaging them. It is not recommended to use chemical cleaning products on carpets.
Carpet care should include not only regular vacuuming, but also airing. Avoid soaking the carpet when cleaning floors.
Protecting your carpet from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight is crucial to avoid uneven color fading. Although natural fading is inevitable, it should occur evenly.
Regularly check the condition of the carpet fringes and edges, which may be worn out but are repairable.
If the carpet is placed on a slippery surface, it is recommended to use a special pad appropriate to its size.
Rotate your carpet at least twice a year to prevent uneven wear. To protect the carpet against dents caused by heavy furniture, it is worth using soft pads, for example made of felt.
