Reza's rugs are made of the highest quality wool, which is carefully selected for each series. Wool carpets are distinguished by special features. Lanolin, a natural component of wool, intensively moisturizes and creates a protective coating, protecting against moisture and dirt. The elasticity of wool makes carpets look fresh and aesthetic for a long time.
The use of traditional dyeing techniques allows the dyes to penetrate deeply into the fiber structure, which guarantees long-lasting color intensity and brightness.
Hand-woven using the knotting method
Hand-woven carpets it is the result of a complicated production process. The production of modern carpets takes place in small villages in India, mainly in the Uttar Pradesh region, near the Ganges River. Skilled Indian weavers make each rug by hand, using an advanced and time-consuming knotting technique, which guarantees elasticity and durability.
After tying all the knots, the craftsmen wash the carpets in the traditional way in the open, using only clean water and traditional tools.
The carpet is delicate to the touch and significantly improves the acoustics in the room. Moreover, it helps purify the air you breathe.
How to care for a wool rug?
Keep your carpet clean by regularly removing dust and other dirt. When vacuuming, try to move in the direction of the fibers to avoid damaging them. We advise against using chemicals to clean the carpet.
Carpet maintenance should include regular vacuuming and airing. Be careful when washing floors to avoid soaking the carpet.
Protect your carpet from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can lead to uneven color fading. Despite the natural fading process, colors should lose intensity evenly.
Pay attention to the condition of the carpet fringes and edges, which may be worn out but can be properly repaired.
If you are placing the rug on a slippery surface, we recommend a special pad that can be adjusted to its dimensions.
To avoid uneven wear on your carpet, it's a good idea to rotate it at least twice a year. For additional protection against dents caused by heavy furniture, it is recommended to use soft pads, for example made of felt.
