Hand-woven using the knotting method
Hand-woven rugs are the product of a complex manufacturing process. In small villages in India, especially in the Ganges region of Uttar Pradesh, local, experienced weavers handcraft modern carpets. They use an advanced knotting technique that gives the carpets both elasticity and durability.
After tying all the knots, the craftsmen wash the carpets outdoors in the traditional way, using only clean water and traditional tools.

How to care for a wool rug?
Take care of your carpet by regularly removing dust and other dirt from it. When vacuuming, follow the direction of the fibers so as not to damage their structure. Avoid using chemicals to clean your carpet.
Keeping the carpet clean should include regular vacuuming and airing. Try not to soak the carpet when washing floors.
Protecting your carpet from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight is important to prevent uneven color fading. Natural fading is normal but should be even.
Regularly check the condition of the fringes and edges of the carpet, which may be worn out, but they can be repaired.
If you are placing the rug on a slippery surface, use an appropriate pad to ensure stability.
