Hand-woven using the tufting method
Carpet tufting is a method in which yarn is punched into a fabric backing using special tools such as carpet weaving guns. The yarn is placed between the warp threads, forming loops or piles, which are then fixed with glue. Before tufting begins, a pattern is usually drawn on the base and then reproduced. Once this process is complete, cut the fibers to the appropriate height and attach the carpet backing.
How to care for a wool rug?
Keep your carpet clean by regularly removing dust and dirt. Vacuum in the direction of the fibers to avoid damaging them, and avoid using chemical cleaners.
Carpet care should include regular vacuuming and airing. When washing floors, try not to get the carpet wet.
Protect your rug from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to avoid uneven color fading. Natural fading should occur evenly.
Regularly check the condition of the carpet fringes and edges, which may wear out but are easy to repair.
If the carpet lies on a slippery surface, use a special pad adapted to its size.
To prevent uneven wear, rotate your carpet at least twice a year. Use soft pads, such as felt pads, to protect against dents from heavy furniture.
