Why polyester?
Polyester stands out for its excellent durability and recyclability, which makes it a key material in sectors promoting pro-ecological solutions. Its use allows to reduce the amount of waste and supports the idea of rational use of natural resources.
Recycling polyester reduces the need for new raw materials, saving energy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Thanks to multiple recycling processes, it can be used in a wide range of applications, from clothing to home furnishings such as carpets, reducing the need for continuous production of new products. This strategy encourages informed decisions by both manufacturers and consumers, contributing to protecting the environment for future generations.
Easy to keep clean and durable
Louis De Poortere low pile carpets made of high-quality polyester, they offer a number of advantages, especially when it comes to ease of keeping clean. Here are the key benefits:
- The short fibers of the carpet make it easy to remove dust and dirt, preventing their deep penetration into the structure of the material. The result is quick vacuuming, which is a significant advantage compared to carpets with longer fibers that require more effort to keep clean.
- Polyester is resistant to most types of stains, which allows them to be easily removed using gentle cleaning agents and water, making the cleaning process easy and undemanding.
- Possibility to wash polyester carpets in a washing machine, if their size allows it, is a great convenience, especially for households with children or animals that need regular and thorough cleaning.
- Color stability makes carpets maintain their appearance for a long time, even after repeated washing, which is important in places exposed to intense sunlight or frequent cleaning.
- Protection against deformation under the weight of furniture and the use of an anti-slip layer increase the stability and safety of using the carpets.
