The carpet is fully made made of high-quality New Zealand wool with an admixture of bamboo silk. Carefully processed to give it a silky appearance, it is characterized by a shiny, elegant fleece that is exceptionally soft and pleasant to the touch. The carpet pile is hand-cut at different heights, creating a convex pattern and attractive 3D effect. Hand-woven using the knotting method
Hand-woven carpets are created thanks to a complicated production process. In small villages in India, especially in the region of Uttar Pradesh on the Ganges River, skilled craftsmen create modern carpets using advanced knotting techniques, reaching a density of approximately 250 knots per square meter. This method gives the carpets elasticity and durability.
After the binding process is completed, the carpets are washed outdoors using traditional methods, clean water and tools.
These carpets are exceptionally soft and significantly improve room acoustics, reducing echo and noise. In addition, they help purify the air by retaining chemicals, and their breathable structure helps keep the room warm.
How to care for a wool rug?
Take care of your carpet by regularly removing dust and other dirt from it. Vacuum in the direction of the fibers so as not to damage their structure. Avoid using chemicals to clean it.
Avoid soaking the carpet when washing floors.
To prevent uneven color fading, protect the rug from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Natural fading is normal, but should occur evenly.
Check the condition of the carpet fringes and edges, which may be worn out but can be repaired.
If the rug is on a slippery surface, use a suitable underlay to ensure stability.
Rotate your carpet at least twice a year to prevent uneven wear. To protect against dents from heavy furniture, use soft pads, such as felt.
