Only the best viscose
The carpet is made entirely of high-quality viscose, which has been specially processed to obtain a silky appearance. Thanks to this, the carpet has shiny fleece, which not only looks elegant, but is also extremely soft and pleasant to the touch. Its presence significantly improves the acoustics of the interior, reducing echo and noise, which helps create a cozy atmosphere. Additionally, the breathable structure of the carpet helps retain heat and effectively retains dust and chemicals. Thus, the carpet not only adds charm to the interior, but also actively purifies the air, creating a healthier environment in your home.
Hand-woven using the knotting method
Hand-woven carpets are created thanks to a complex production process. In small Indian villages, especially in Uttar Pradesh on the Ganges River, skilled local craftsmen create modern carpets using advanced knotting techniques, reaching a density of approximately 250 knots per square meter. This method gives the carpets elasticity and durability.
Once the knots are finished, the artisans wash the rugs outdoors, using traditional methods and clean water and tools.
The carpet is soft to the touch, significantly improves interior acoustics by reducing echo and noise, and also helps purify the air by retaining chemicals. Its breathable structure also helps keep the room warm.
How to care for a viscose rug?
Run your hand across the carpet to determine the direction of the pile. Cleaning in the opposite direction may loosen the fibers and deform the carpet.
High-power vacuum cleaners with rotating brushes may damage viscose fibers. Instead, use a non-electric carpet brush, moving it in the direction of the pile. This will effectively remove any residue and dirt.
Avoid detergents as they may stain and discolor the carpet. Clean stains with a mixture of white vinegar, water and dishwashing liquid. Quick action will reduce the size and intensity of stains. For more difficult stains, use a solution of water, white vinegar and mild dishwashing liquid. Wipe the stain with a cloth soaked in the solution, then immediately remove it with a clean, damp cloth. Make sure the cloth is not too wet so as not to damage the carpet.
Use a mild dishwashing liquid to clean spills. First, test the liquid on a small, inconspicuous part of the carpet. If discoloration appears, stop using it. For larger areas, use mild dishwashing liquid and water. Soak the cloth in cold water with a drop of neutral pH liquid and wipe the area in the direction of the pile. Finally, wipe with a dry cloth until the area is dry.
