The carpet stayed made of a combination of wool and viscose, carefully processed to obtain a silky effect. Its fleece is shiny, elegant and extremely soft and pleasant to the touch. Hand-woven using the knotting method
Hand-knotted rugs are created through a demanding, multi-step process. In small villages across India, particularly in the Uttar Pradesh region along the Ganges River, experienced artisans create contemporary rugs using precise knotting techniques. Each square meter can contain approximately 250 knots, giving the rugs exceptional flexibility and durability.
Once the weaving is complete, the rugs are cleaned by hand in the open air according to traditional methods, using clean water and simple tools.
The result is incredibly soft carpets that improve interior acoustics by reducing echoes and noise. Furthermore, their natural, breathable structure helps trap dust and dirt, helping to purify the air and maintain a pleasant temperature in the room.
