Green and white modern rug Griff Central Green 9797 from the Mad Men collection from the Belgian brand Louis De Poortere will surely delight you with its design.
Inspired by the vibrant energy of 60s New York, Griff captures the dynamic fusion of Madison Avenue’s advertising revolution and the cultural shifts of the era. The collection’s combination of sharp lines and distressed textures creates a clash of optimism and anxiety, reflecting bold movements such as Women’s Liberation, the Vietnam War protests and May ’68. Inspired by action painting, Griff is a visual tribute to creativity and change, combining smoothness and rawness in every detail.
Ecological polyester rug, created using the flat weaving techniqueo!
This model is made entirely of polyester, a synthetic material. It is characterized by flat weaving with a dense jacquard weave, which allows the creation of complex patterns and decorative details. Thanks to this weaving technique, the carpet is distinguished by its exceptional durability, which makes it more resistant to wear than carpets with a longer pile.
Why polyester?
polyester, thanks to its ability to be recycled multiple times, maintains high quality, which allows for efficient use of resources and reduction of waste. Every kilogram of recycled material becomes a valuable raw material, which helps to reduce waste and fully use available resources.
In response to the challenges of producing new polyester from petroleum, we created the Ecorugs collection, introducing more sustainable solutions. The Take Care program makes recycling a shared responsibility, extending the life cycle of polyester and reducing our dependence on non-renewable raw materials.
Ecorugs are rugs that combine durability with care for our planet. Designed for long-term use, they retain their properties and aesthetics even when changing owners. By choosing polyester, you are investing in a product that offers excellent quality and a responsible approach to the future of our planet.

Ecological product
Louis De Poortere is constantly taking action for ecology, focusing on sustainable production in line with the principles of the circular economy. The Ecorugs collection is a proposal for the future – rugs made entirely of mono-material polyester, which combine high durability with full recyclability.
Since the debut of the first edition of Ecorugs in 2023, when 20% of the raw materials came from recycling, this share has increased to 40%. Thanks to this, our carpets not only meet the highest quality standards, but are also fully adapted for recycling. This is an innovative generation of ecological carpets that not only support environmental protection, but also reflect the philosophy of creating durable, aesthetic and functional products for many years.
This carpet is made entirely of ecological materials, using recyclable polyester fiber. The brand has implemented a closed-cycle recycling system that allows customers return used carpets without additional fees. Louis De Poorter strongly emphasizes its commitment to social responsibility, which makes this company worth recommending.
